Central Coast Haematology

Central Coast Haematology is a professional and modern practice that provides personalised and compassionate care for people with haematological disorders. Our team is dedicated to achieving the best possible outcomes for patients by delivering patient-focused and evidence-based care with respect and empathy.

Dr Cecily Forsyth established her practice on the Central Coast in 1996, and Jacqui Jagger joined her as a haematology nurse practitioner in 2020. Dr Richard Blennerhassett joined the practice in 2021 as a haematologist practicing primarily in Kanwal. Central Coast Haematology services the whole Central Coast region, with practices at Kanwal and North Gosford.

Dr Cecily Forsyth is one of the leading Australian haematologists in MPNs and is especially interested in innovative therapies for rare blood disorders. She also focuses on research and clinical trial participation. Jacqui Jagger has dedicated much of her time to assisting patients with cancer recovery and providing holistic care to those diagnosed with myeloma and MPNs.  Dr Richard Blennerhassett is passionate regarding bone marrow transplantation, and will be offering a Clot Clinic in Kanwal to help better meet the community’s needs.
